Bridal Shop Owner
Hello I'm Sallyanne and Ever After Bridal Wear is not only my business but it is my passion! I have been the proud owner since December 2013 with the love and support of my wonderful husband and family without whom running the business wouldn't be possible! It's the best feeling in the worId when a bride finds the "one" with my help, and it 's a privilege to play a part in their special day. Our brides become friends and quite often pop in for a coffee and a chat! I love helping girls with their colour schemes and advising on the style of bridesmaid dresses to complement their wedding dress, and seeing the cute little flower girls trying on their dresses, feeling like a princess is priceless! One of my favourite times of the year is prom season when I get to meet lots of girls in year 11 preparing for their prom and embarking on the next stage of their educational journey. with the memory of a sparkly dress too! Seeing a mums' face when her little girl tries on her First Holy Communion dress is also a really special time for me.. I really love our brand new Mother of the Bride/Groom collection that arrived in January 2017 and look forward to being able to help mums with their outfits too! Sallyanne x
Hello ladies and gentlemen, I’m Faye. I’ve been working at Ever After for around 6 months and my role in the shop is everything from a window dresser to bridal wear consultant. My favourite being playing dress up with the little flower girls. The beautiful thing about working in a bridal shop is that you can meet a person for the first time and within one hour it’s like you met a lifetime ago. The feeling of happiness and pride not only the bridal party gets but you get for them. If that’s not the worlds best job I don’t know what is! Lots of love, Faye xx
Hello ladies (and gentlemen)! I’m Katie, the daughter of Ever After’s owner Sallyanne, and I am chief Prom wear consultant, as well as a Bridal wear assistant. I worked in the shop for 3 years on weekends and holidays until I had to leave due to me studying at university to become a Midwife. I still work in the holidays in the shop and pop-in whenever I get chance. I absolutely love working at Ever After, it is a truly beautiful shop and I especially love getting to meet lots of lovely new brides and their families. My favourite thing about working in the shop is seeing a girl’s face light up when she finds THE ONE! It is so rewarding, and I have often found myself shedding a little tear when my bride’s leave the shop with their dress after their last appointment before their big day. Prom wear is my speciality and I am very proud to say that we are now platinum stockists of Ruby Prom dresses. It is my job to go to Ruby Prom Studios to choose our new collection each summer, I even get to try them all on! I am very thankful to my mum for having me work in her lovely shop, I feel very privileged to be such a large part of a bride’s big day of choosing their dream wedding dress, and look forward to meeting all of you ladies looking for a special dress for your special day, whether it be wedding, prom, holy communion or another special event. Best Wishes, Katie x
Hi everyone! I’m Emmi and my role in the shop is the overall helper! You’ll find me in the shop on Saturdays, helping where needed. I’ve currently worked in the shop for just short of a year as the Saturday girl and still love every second of it! What more can a girl want than looking at bling all day and helping you lovely brides find the perfect dress for your big day? My favourite thing about working in the shop is being able to be a part of your special day, and being able to be one of Sallyanne’s models for all these beautiful dresses doesn’t hurt either! Out of all the occasions that Ever After cater for, from Bridal and Prom to Holy Communion and Mother of the Bride, my main job is Prom Wear. I love working with all the beautiful dresses and being able to meet lots of excited ladies! It’s the dream job for me. I look forward to meeting you all and no matter what Nigel says, my cup of tea’s are better than his! Emmi x
My role is more of a supportive role, however I can be found in the shop on Saturday's where my tea and coffee making skills come in handy! I have always worked within retail, but I am still amazed at how huge the bridal wear industry is! It's lovely to watch Sallyanne with her clients she is so passionate about making sure they have not only a nice experience but feel confident that they have found their perfect gown. She looks after each of her individual brides, and listens to their needs. I'm looking forward to what will come with the new shop expansion and I am excited about our new Mother of the Bride range. I'm so proud of everything Sallyanne has achieved in the shop so far especially when I red the lovely reviews her clients have left on google and on Facebook. Perhaps one day I will be able to retire from my day job and become a permanent member of the team. Looking forward to meeting everyone and making you one of my famous cups of tea, Nigel x
You may get the pleasure of meeting our lovely seamstresses Kathryn and Diane when you come in for a fitting, but if not then we can guarantee that your dress is in very safe and experienced hands!
Our seamstresses work in the comfort of their own homes and our boutique, altering our girls' beautiful gowns so that they are perfect for their big day. They charge a small fee, which is dependant on the dress and work that needs doing, but they are very reasonable! Alterations are not always needed, and you only pay for what you need!
